Student Handbooks

For undergraduate and postgraduate taught students

About your Student Handbook

The student handbook is a useful guide for all our students. Not only does it tell you what you need to know when you start studying Computer Science at York, but it is a useful reference for continuing students.

The handbook provides a comprehensive introduction to the Department of Computer Science, and information on all aspects of your degree programme. It outlines what you should expect from us, and what we expect from you. It also clarifies the policies and procedures relevant to your area of study.
