Brian and Lydia Gray Scholarship
Thanks to a generous donation to the University, the Brian and Lydia Gray Scholarship provides support to talented students who have the academic potential to study at York, and who have overcome significant barriers to their educational goals.
Open to UK (home) students only.
Open to students in the Department of Chemistry.
The award is open to applications from UK-based students starting an undergraduate degree in Chemistry in September of each year (with a residual household income under £42,875).
We will contact students (who have been accepted onto our Chemistry course) with an application form.
Each award is paid in instalments for three years, and is to be awarded subject to satisfactory academic progress.
This award has been extremely competitive in previous years.
