The Editorial Board of Chemistry Review is offering a bursary of £500 (and a free subscription to Chemistry Review) over one year to a student who has a flair for science communication and is applying to study chemistry at the University of York. The successful candidate would be expected to help with the production of the magazine and (under guidance) write a short article for each of the four issues in a volume.
If you enjoy writing and communicating scientific ideas to non-specialists then you could be the person we are looking for.
Once you have received an offer for a place on an undergraduate chemistry course at York you can apply for this bursary. Selection will initially be done by submission of a short article (during the Semester 1 of the course, details will be sent to those who apply) and those shortlisted will be interviewed to find the successful candidate to join the editorial team.
