The Department of Chemistry has placed 5th in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025 for the subject of Chemistry. The ranking recognises the quality of our courses, and the experiences and opportunities they provide to our students.

The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide is published annually to help students choose a university course. It ranks UK universities by undergraduate degree subjects in metrics such as student satisfaction, continuation, spend per student and graduate outcomes.
