Electron microscopy
Primarily used for biological single-particle analysis, the 200 kV Thermo Scientific Glacios electron cryo-microscope is also designed to operate in a variety of imaging modes.
Via the York JEOL Nanocentre, we also offer:
- scanning electron microscopy (SEM) equipped with EDX and EBSD capabilities
- transmission electron microscopy (TEM) facilities including environmental aberration-corrected high-resolution environmental (scanning) transmission electron microscopy (S)TEM for studies under heat and electrical bias in the presence of gas.
