Automated Robotics for Chemistry (ARC)
The Automated Robotics for Chemistry (ARC) Lab enables technologies and robotics to automate chemical processes.
Led by Professor Ian Fairlamb, the ARC Lab offers a range of robotics and technologies to automate, optimise and understand chemical processes, depending on your reaction needs and outcomes.
It is capable of solid and liquid handling, high-throughput reactions (48 and 96), photo-catalysis, flow reactions and more.
Services
- Chemspeed ISYNTH liquid handling and reaction platform
- Chemspeed Crystal Powderdose solid dispensing unit
- Bespoke, in-house, high-throughput photo-catalytic flow system
We can also assist with the automated processing of LC-MS and NMR datasets and conduct reaction outcome trend analysis using various data science tools.
Other systems:
- Photocatalytic flow systems
- Thermomixer reaction block
- Radley’s Carousel’s
