If you have been sexually assaulted, it is important to remember that it's not your fault. We encourage you to seek support.
University resources
Sexual violence liaison officers
Sexual violence liaison officers (SVLOs) can work with you one-to-one to talk you through your support and reporting options, both within the University and externally. They will support you through whatever choices are right for you. You can access support from an SVLO whether something has happened recently or some time ago. Support is confidential, and you will not be pressured into taking any particular course of action.

Provides information for students on what sexual violence is and what to do if you think you or someone you know has experienced sexual violence. You can also use the site to report misconduct by another student with the option to report anonymously.
Information on domestic violence for those experiencing abuse or supporting someone else. Domestic violence or abuse includes physical, emotional and sexual abuse in couple relationships or between family members. This page is aimed at staff but can also be used by students.

A comprehensive collection of information including options for reporting assault and medical support for those who have experienced sexual assault.
This sexual assault referral centre can arrange a medical examination (without police involvement if requested). They can be reached by their website, by email (bridgehouse.sarc@nhs.net), or by telephone (0330 2230362)
They provide long term support for survivors of sexual violence. They can be reached by phone (0808 1451887) between 4pm and 8pm on Mondays and Tuesdays only.
Offers services to various communities across Yorkshire including men who have sex with men, people of colour and other marginalised races, people misusing drugs, sex workers, and LGBT+ individuals. The closes location is in Leeds.
