Vishalie is a PhD student affiliated with the Global Health Economics team in the Centre for Health Economics (CHE). Her research focuses on developing and using innovative statistical methods for impact evaluations of health policies in low- and middle-income countries. She has a particular interest in machine learning and causal mediation analysis.
Prior to joining CHE, Vishalie worked as a researcher in the Health Organisation, Policy and Economics team at the University of Manchester. She holds a BSc in Economics from University College London and an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York.
