Peter Murphy is a research fellow in the Centre for Health Economics, University of York. His research focuses on economic evaluation and decision modelling involving both methodological and applied research. He joined the Global Health theme in January 2024 and prior to this he worked as a health economics research fellow in the Centre for Reviews and Dissemination, University of York working extensively on the National Institute for Health and
Care Excellence (NICE) technology appraisal programme. Peter obtained his MSc and PhD in health economics from the University of York.
Peter has previously acted as a consultant and conducted research for the World Health Organization and has published in leading academic journals including The Lancet.
