Megha joined CHE in July 2023 as a Research Fellow for the Thanzi Labwino (Better Health) project and is part of Global Health. She holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick and a BA in Economics from Stella Maris College (Chennai, India). She has more than five years of research experience, primarily focusing on health system governance and financing for efficient and effective healthcare delivery. Before CHE, Megha worked as a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Public Policy, IIM Bangalore. She was part of a multi-disciplinary team within the Lancet Citizens' Commission on Reimagining India’s Health System that designed and implemented a unique mixed-methods framework for district-level health system assessment in India to identify feasible pathways towards UHC. She also worked as a research consultant for CHE, where she was involved in providing technical input to inform a series of national dialogues between ministries of health (MoHs), ministries of finance (MoFs), and other stakeholders in five ECSA countries (Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mauritius, Malawi, and Eswatini). Her research interests include impact and economic evaluations of health policies in low and middle-income countries.
