Helen Weatherly is a Professor of Health and Care Economics at the Centre for Health Economics, University of York, UK. Her research focuses on social (long term) care and public health. She has long term interest in the use of economic evaluation to inform decision making, she leads a social care economics network, and she has led and continues to be involved in a substantial number of related research projects and research collaborations. She led the development of the University of York’s health economics by distance learning MSc, serving as programme Co-Director for 8 years. She's the Capability Building Lead on the Thanzi la Onse, Africa, health economics programme and she's CHE's Impact Lead.
