Carlos is a PhD student affiliated with the Economic Evaluation theme (TEEHTA) in the Centre for Health Economics (CHE). His studentship focuses on heterogeneity in economic evaluation for diagnostic and prognostic tests.
Prior to joining CHE, he worked as a senior research fellow in the Health Technology Assessment unit at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. Carlos has also worked as a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), and as a data analyst at the public health institute (Chile).
Carlos holds a BSc in Pharmacy and MSc in Epidemiology both from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile.
