The Centre for Health Economics (CHE) at the University of York is seeking to appoint a Senior Research Fellow/Reader in health economics on a full-time open contract (part-time applications will also be considered with a minimum of 0.8 FTE).

Salary: £57,422 - £70,579 a year, reduced pro-rata for part-time working

Grade: Grade 8

The successful candidate will have a research profile focused on economics applied to health, and a strong quantitative background.  The post would be to work across CHE’s research themes, including research in low and middle-income settings.

The Senior Research Fellow/Reader will be based in CHE, one of the world’s most prominent academic health economics research centres.  For over forty years we have been committed to the development and application of economics to promote health and wellbeing through the effective, efficient, and equitable use of scarce resources.
