The University of York’s Centre for Health Economics (CHE) has been awarded £11m funding by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) to lead two Policy Research Units (PRUs).

The Centre for Health Economics at the University of York is seeking to appoint a Research Fellow (Grade 6 or Grade 7) to work across the REAL Demand and REAL Supply research units providing independent analysis to support better long-term decision making in health and social care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economics, econometrics or a related quantitative subject, a keen interest in English health and care policy, and a willingness to work closely with system stakeholders to co-develop and co-deliver an ambitious economic research programme. The appointment is on an open contract basis.
