Dr Rodrigo Moreno-Serra from CHE is co-author of research into the positive effect of Colombia’s ceasefire on the country’s young mothers and their babies.
The relationship between exposure to conflict violence during pregnancy and the risks of miscarriage, stillbirth, and perinatal mortality has not been studied empirically using rigorous methods and appropriate data.
