Professional Services Hub 2
A new Professional Services Hub is being created on the second floor of the Information Centre. The space will allow the University Executive Board and their support team to move from Heslington Hall.
This in turn will facilitate the move of the Centre for Medieval Studies and Centre for Eighteenth Century Studies from King’s Manor, and the Humanities Research Centre from Berrick Saul, bringing these key academic groups together.
When and Where
Work is planned to begin in March 2025, with completion expected in summer 2025. Most of the changes will take place inside the Information Centre and the immediate external area.
How it will affect me
There will be some noise and disruption from building works in the immediate area and a scaffold tower will be installed outside of Campus West reception. The Information Centre car park will be reconfigured to create the site compound, and the standard bays and motorcycle spaces by Vanbrugh Nucleus will not be available.
