Masters level studies
Our two Masters courses allow you to work with renowned academics at the forefront of research and gain hands-on experience in the field.
MA in applied human rights
This programme is designed for practitioners and would-be practitioners who wish to engage with applied human rights, or who wish to use the MA as a foundation for further research. It focuses on the use of rights discourse and tools within the human rights mainstream and in a range of related fields.
The whole placement experience was defined by reciprocal and welcoming relationships, both among the project group and between us and our project partner, and it gave me a real chance to get involved in work that I am passionate about.

LLM International human rights law and practice
This programme is designed for mid-career professionals and recent graduates who wish to acquire holistic knowledge and socio-legal skills essential for a successful career in human rights practice or for advancing to PhD studies. The LLM immerses students in a critical, nuanced and interdisciplinary engagement with human rights law, policy and advocacy.
The placement experience was profound and gave us a sense of how the human rights and humanitarian fields work in practice, and how to work with people in these professions.
