Researchers in action
CAHR research is applied in nature. This means that its goal is to have an impact on concrete real-world challenges and situations.
For research to be an agent of change it needs to be presented in accessible formats, for a range of audiences, and in a way that is engaging, provocative, constructive and targeted. Below we provide some examples of action- and engagement-oriented outputs produced by CAHR researchers.
- Indicator Reports, produced annually on human rights in the city of York
- Blogs exploring issues at the intersection of arts and human rights
- Blog symposium on Compliance in Armed Conflict: New Avenues to Generate Respect for Humanitarian Norms
