The Human Rights Defender Hub's Working Papers series aims to make reearch related to human rights defenders accessible to the public and to promote further research that is relevant to human rights defenders.
The latest paper in the series is by Dr Katie McQuaid, an anthropologist currently working as a research fellow at the University of Leeds. Her research focuses on gender and sexuality, violence, climate change, intergenerationality and human rights in urban Uganda. Defenders Across Borders: Congolese Human Rights Defenders in Uganda's Refugee Regime and the other papers in the series, as well as policy briefs and blogs can be found on the HRD Hub website.
