Research project co-ordinator vacancy at CAHR

CAHR wishes to appoint a part-time project co-ordinator for its research project "The law of asylum in the Middle East and Asia: Developing legal engagement at the frontiers of the international refugee regime."

The Centre for Applied Human Rights wishes to appoint a part-time (18.5 hours per week; 0.5 FTE) project coordinator for its ESRC Global Challenges funded research project "The law of asylum in the Middle East and Asia: Developing legal engagement at the frontiers of the international refugee regime." The project is a two year international collaboration examining refugee legal aid in the Middle East and Asia.  You will be responsible for the coordination of the project, including its financial management; organising and participating in international meetings; and, supporting local refugee legal aid providers in their documentation and analysis of their practice.  You will have a background in human rights and/or refugee issues and a commitment to improving the protection of refugees.
