Human right defenders fellows' training and advocacy trip to Edinburgh

Two human right defenders (HRD) fellows spent three days in Edinburgh.
Two of Centre for Applied Human Right's (CAHR) defender fellows spent three days in Edinburgh on a combined training and advocacy trip. Despite the freezing conditions they made full use of their time in the Scottish capital which included meeting Scotland's Minister for Equalities and Older People, Ms Christina McKelvie, members of the Scottish Commission for Human Rights, and the fellows from Dundee University on the Scottish Fellowship for Human Rights Defenders. They also took part in a "Policy Influencing Training" and enjoyed some free time visiting some of the museums and tourist sites of Edinburgh.
