The Journal of Human Rights Practice is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The journal, hosted by the Centre for Applied Human Rights (CAHR) at the University of York, has become a leading journal in its field. In this special issue, CAHR Director, Professor Paul Gready reflects on human rights in the last decade through the prism of CAHR's work, and specifically its flagship programmes, the Protective Fellowship Scheme for Human Rights Defenders at Risk and York as a human rights city.
