CAHR academics release two policy briefs on HRDs

A research team led by Dr Alice Nah has released two new policy briefs on HRDs and gender and stigmatization.

Dr Alice Nah and her research team on the project 'Navigating Risk, Managing Security, and Receiving Support' have released two new policy briefs: 

• Countering the Stigmatization of Human Rights Defenders, HRD Hub Policy Brief 5 (PDF , 1,856kb)
• Gender, Intersectionality and Security, HRD policy brief 6 (PDF , 1,488kb)

The policy briefs are based on research findings examining the experiences of human rights defenders at risk in Colombia, Mexico, Egypt, Kenya, and Indonesia. The policy briefs note implications for practice for policy-makers, practitioners and human rights defenders.
