The Centre for Applied Human Rights together with Impunity Watch and Al Kawakibi Democracy Transition Center (KADEM) publically launched the NWO-funded project on participatory transitional justice in Tunisia on 20 January 2015. The 2-year research project will monitor victim engagement with transitional justice processes in the country, and help build research and advocacy capacity among victim groups. Professor Paul Gready says 'this unique project will work alongside transitional justice processes, such as the truth commission, ensuring that diverse victim groups have a role in informing and shaping transitional justice debates'.
