Presentations and scholarship award for CAHR PhD student

Lena Opfermann presents her research findings at South African universities.

CAHR PhD candidate is currently conducting an ESRC funded Overseas Institutional Visit at the University of Cape Town. As part of her activities she presented some of her findings at the African Centre for Migration and Society at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg on 26 May 2015 and will present at the Centre for Social Science Research at the University of Cape Town on Tuesday 2 June 2015.

Lena has also recently been awarded an EUSA_ID mobility scholarship which is funded by the European Commission within the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Partnerships programme. This scholarship will place her at the University of the Western Cape for a period of 24 months starting in September 2015.
