The Pint of Science festival aims to deliver interesting, fun, relevant talks on the latest science research in an accessible format to the public – all in the pub! It is run by volunteers and was established by a community of postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers in 2012. This year's festival will take place on the evenings of Monday 18th – Wednesday 20th May 2015 in London, Oxford, Cambridge, Bath, Birmingham, Bristol, Exeter, Glasgow, Manchester, Southampton, Teesside and of course York.
Talks will take place at five pubs across York and several of them will be on C2D2-funded or linked research, including work on Parkinson's Disease diagnostics, computational modelling of the human system and antimicrobial resistance.
