Co-production research project with York Cares, City of York Children's Services and SPSW.
The Bright Futures project involves implementing (York Cares and Children's Services) and assessing (SPSW) a work experience programme for young people in and leaving care in York.
The programme aims to improve employability, wider skills and work related experiences for young people in care to improve their education, employment and training outcomes after care.
It offers care experienced young people aged 12 - 18 opportunities to participate in work preparation and skills workshops and undertake work experience placements with local employers.
