Mark Casson

Mark Casson is Professor of Economics at the University of Reading and Director of the Centre for Institutional Performance. He has published widely on the economics of the multinational enterprise, entrepreneurship, and business culture, including The Future of the Multinational Enterprise (with Peter Buckley) (new ed. 2001), The Entrepreneur: An Economic Theory (new ed. 2003), The Economics of Business Culture (1991), Information and Organization (1997), and Economics of International Business: A New Research Agenda (2000). He is co-editor of the Oxford Handbook of Entrepreneurship (2006). He has recently completed an ESRC-funded economic history of the UK railway system, and currently holds a Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship for the study of the economics of social networks
