Hiroyuki Yamabe

Hiroyuki Yamabe works as an associate professor at Nara Prefectural University, Nara,
Japan. He received his PhD from the University of Hyogo. His interests include
international management and business history, in particular the history of the bicycle
industry.
Comparative research of the pre-war Japan and the UK bicycle industries is supported by a
Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) from the Japan Society for the Promotion
of Science (JSPS) from 2022 to 2026.
