The implementation of multi tier pension system in Thailand.
I am a planning and policy analyst, working in the office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC), a think tank public organization in Thailand since 2016. Within NESDC, I am in the social and human resource development strategy and planning office.
My responsibility covers wide range aspects. These include analysing internal and external factors affecting Thailand’s socio-economic environment and formulating strategies relating to social situations, understanding social innovation and social capital to generate ideas and formulate social strategies under the national development plan, generating policy recommendations for the government and the cabinet, responsible for the public-health policy, social protection system, education, and other social-related issues.
Before doing PhD, I have been sponsored by the royal Thai government to study Masters at the department of social policy and social work, University of York. I have Master of Arts in Global Social Policy in 2020. Currently, I have been granted the NESDC scholarship to extend my degree on PhD in social policy and social work at School for Business and Society. My research interest is pension, social policy, social protection, healthcare system. Apart from that, my non-academic interest is about sport, music, environment, and travel.
