During her MA Global Social Policy, undertaken at the University of York, Sara developed the Global Eco-Social Justice framework that combines the research fields of global social policy, environmental policy and climate justice. After being awarded the White Rose DTP scholarship (under the SPEL pathway), Sara completed the MA Social Research at the University of York to develop the framework by undertaking a Delphi study with a panel of academic experts across the disciples of global social policy, eco-social policy, environmental policy and climate justice.
Her thesis project will expand on improving the framework and will operationalise it to measure nation-states and their ability to align with the principles of global eco-social justice. Sara is interested in mixed methods and interdisciplinary approaches in her research.
