Profile

I am a PG Academic Skills Tutor / Supervisor in the School for Business and Society and have worked at the University of York for four years. I have a degree in English and Psychology and a Masters degree in Developmental Psychology along with a Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching. I have worked as an English for Academic Purposes tutor at the University of Manchester and at the International Pathway College at the University of York.

My teaching experience includes working with international students face to face and online. I was an English and Drama teacher in Lithuania, and I worked as an English language tutor at York St. John University in the UK.

My personal interests are psychology, creative writing, education, and bilingualism (I have written a book on bilingualism and well being which was published in 2014).
