I am an experienced Higher Education lecturer and Programme leader. I have SFHEA and CMgr MCMI professional accreditations. I have been recognised by NIACE, as an innovative teacher through the work that I have done in inspiring learners and linking with employers.
My research focus is concerned with developing understanding in the area of entrepreneurship and context, and I am particularly interested in sociological and institutional theoretical lenses. I have presented papers at a number of international conferences including EURAM and BAM. I achieved best paper at the 2017 EURAM Doctoral Colloquium, and I achieved best paper at the “Technology led emergence and transformation of markets conference” at the University of Edinburgh in 2018.
I currently teach a number of modules at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. In 2018 and in 2021 I won awards for good practice from the University of Lincoln. I have been recognised by NIACE as being an inspirational teacher.
