Biography

I am married with three children and seven grandchildren.

I have been and still am a Local Authority Foster Carer for 32 years and have taken up to three placements at a time, covering all ages from birth to beyond independence. These placements have covered a large variety of complex needs - both physical and emotional -
as well as very difficult behaviours.

I was also an Advanced Social Worker in the more deprived areas in Leeds before becoming an agency worker in other authorities prior to retiring. During my time in Leeds, I was a practice teacher for a number of students; therefore, I am more than happy to support
students prior to starting their placements.
