Evaporation from (blue) green roofs: how to engineer a nature based solution within an urban environment
How can we collaborate to develop well-engineered nature-based solutions (NBS) within an urban environment to tackle the effects of climate change? Phil Henry will discuss this, drawing on decades of industry experience and practice. He will examine the issues of measuring hydrological, thermal and bio functioning of a Blue-Green Roof combining the blue element (rainwater) with the green element (plants) and the benefits this has for wider society.
