This service is provided for people who would like us to transcribe or translate parts of documents they have received from us, or have looked at on a visit. It forms part of our searching service.  

We may be able to assist with:

  • Transcribing difficult handwriting into modern type
  • Translating Latin documents into English 

Due to staff availability we are not able to transcribe or translate full documents, but we can create summaries and translate key information for you. Please contact us to discuss your needs and our staff will be happy to assist.
