Library and Archives services over the funeral bank holiday

Monday 19th September has now been designated as a national bank holiday to allow as many people as possible to mark the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The following services will be operating over the course of the day:

Archives and Research Collections

• Access to digitised and microfilm resources during library opening hours via the Borthwick’s microform room.

Library

• Opening hours: 8am to midnight
• Library buildings open on a self-service basis (i.e. with no staffed Help Desk provision); but normal access to resources (stacks, loans, returns, laptops, PCs, printing) and study spaces.
• King’s Manor Library building open 9am to 5pm with a staffed Help desk
• Enquiry service limited to emails and Chat only

• IT Support via email only to itsupport@york.ac.uk

• Library Cafe open 9am to 7pm
