Super primo articulo examinatus dicit that the articulate margerue Blacklock is thie examinate's sister and this examinate hath kept her in his house seaven years last past, and he saith she is a woman of no witt, capacitie or understanding, that she cannot number to five that she cannot tell (if she be asked) what hir father or mothers name was, nether how many daies be in a week no scarce what her owne name is, nether can she decentlie putt on her owne apparell such and so great is and ever hath bene her follie and ignorance of this examinate's cirteine  sight and knowledge, alltho she be some xxxtie years old, and that she is so fowr from reason as she differeth therin not much from a brute beast nether can she tell what marriage is. Et aliter nescit deponere. (and otherwise he knows nothing to depose)

Super secundo articulo examinatus dicit quod audivit prout continetur in hac articulo. Et aliter nescit deponere quam posita. (Concerning the second article the examinate says that he has heard as is contained in this article and otherwise he knows nothing to depose)

Super tertio articulo examinatus dicit that the articulate William Lepington did never since he came to the age of xiiii yeres consent to the said Margerie as his wife of this examinate’s knowledge who hath  kept hir ever since the said William came to thage of foreteen yeres, nether had the said Margerie any discretion to consent to him as hir husband. And this examinate hath herd the said William from time to tyme since he came to thage of xiiii yeres and when he was full xiiii yeres old dessent from his marrage with the said Margerie and from all companie and cohabitacion with her. At aliter nescit deponere. (and otherwise he knows nothing to depose)
