Gwen Randolph is the Emil Unanue Professor of Pathology and Immunology at WUSTL. Current areas of research in her lab include crosstalk between macrophage populations in different tissues, macrophage ontogeny, and lymphatic cholesterol trafficking in atherosclerosis. Recent studies include:

- Huang et al Cell Metabolism 2019 “Interleukin-17 Drives Interstitial Entrapment of Tissue Lipoproteins in Experimental Psoriasis”
- Bambouskova  et al Nature 2018 “Electrophilic properties of itaconate and derivatives regulate the IκBζ-ATF3 inflammatory axis”

The biomedical seminar series aims to showcase exciting research from external speakers working in the biomedical sciences. This includes immunology, infectious and non-infectious disease, with ranges from molecules to the whole organism.
