CBR Team take on Shine Night Walk York

The Haem Team from the Centre for Blood Research and the MRC National Mouse Genetics Network took part in the Shine Night Walk around York to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

Shine Night Walk is an illuminating night-time walk passing some of York's famous landmarks, in aid of Cancer Research UK. Members of the Centre for Blood Research and the MRC National Mouse Genetics Network Haem cluster took part in the charity event, and raised over £1000 between them. 

Not only are the team researching the potential causes and treatments for different cancers, they're doing their bit to raise funds for Cancer Research UK; a testament to our members' dedication to making a difference to those who have cancer.
