Biography

I am the Biology departments’ deputy operations manager. I am part of Lucy Hudson’s operations team and I manage the Biology Infrastructure team. My technical team support, generally, teaching and research within the department and specifically we undertake, amongst other things, training on departmental equipment/processes, bio-hazardous waste processing in our central autoclave facility, glass/plastic washing in our central dishwash facility & maintenance of departmental equipment, buildings and procedures. 

My role also includes facilitation of several faculty service contracts for common equipment (microbial safety cabinets, Ultra-low temperature freezers, balances, pure water systems, autoclaves etc.).
