First Aid Kits for Field Trips
- A First Aid kit must be taken on every field trip. The trained First Aider should be consulted on the composition of the kit, which should be appropriate for the nature of the work. Suggested first aid kit list for the outdoors
- Where small groups of students are working away from a field base control point, they should be offered a First Aid kit where appropriate, but there is no requirement for First Aid training. Individuals working on their own in the field (e.g. research project students) should be encouraged to take a First Aid kit.
