Wellcome Trust funded CIDCATS students in year 2-4
As members of an interdisicplinary programme, you have the scope to identify and participate in graduate training opportunities in any of the programme's six partner departments (Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics and the Hull York Medical School). The initiative for identifying the nature and scope of training should be taken by you in the first instance. However, training plans should be discussed with your supervisory team prior to applying. Further advice as to how this training fits within your skills portfolio and the programme training requirements can be sought from the CIDCATS Skills Training Coordinator or the Department of Biology Careers and Training Officer (acting on behalf of the programme). Once decisions have been made, please contact Julie Knox to confirm the details.
BBSRC and NERC DTP students
Students registered in partner Departments on the BBSRC or NERC Doctoral Training Programmes (DTP) are invited to attend Biology induction/training events.
Please remember to liaise with your home Department when considering attending Biology events.
For students registered in partner Departments, home Department events must take priority over Biology induction/training events.
