Quatuor Diotima, Ensemble in Association at the University of York School of Arts and Creative Technologies, is one of the most in-demand chamber ensembles in the world today. During their residency, and as part of the Contemporary Music Research Collective series, eight new pieces by our MA and PhD composition students Jared Destro, Skye Levett, Mathew Hall, Eleanor Paine, Chanka Pathimayake, Dawn Walters, Roy Watkins, and Ruike Xu will be workshopped on Tuesday from 10:30-12:30 in the Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall, and from 14:00-16:00 in E/106. These workshops will be followed by an informal performance back in the Concert Hall at 16.30.
