About the film
Ivie is a 15-year-old teenager that knows what she wants. She wants to suceed and be the best in everything, running, school and life. She is ambitious, strong and tries to make her parents proud. As she starts to struggle in life, being used to always reach her goals, she pushes herself to the limits. At an important qualification race she suddenly collapses and is brought to the hospital.
What happened to her? Why did no one realise that something was wrong?
The aim of this shortfilm is to increase awareness for Type 1 Diabetes symptoms and give confidence for teenagers that are newly diagnosed. It shows that you can achieve your dreams with Type 1 Diabetes if you get proper help. As a not diagnosed T1-Diabetes can be fatal, it is important to increase awareness.
