The Graddies - 'The first film festival dedicated to graduating film students'
Only 3% of film and media students find employment in the film industry 6 months after graduation.
The Graddies are hoping to change that. We want universities to enter their students, to compete across the country, and find the best young talent.
Students get a chance to enter and showcase their work to industry professionals, and the finalists come together to watch the winning films and network with industry contacts and other students, in a celebration of their work.
Some of the previous finalists have gone on to work with Distant Voices and have worked with the likes of the BBC, Netflix and Channel 4.
The Graddies aims to bridge the gap between university education and gainful employment within the industry.
