Have you ever felt unsafe on the bus, walking to work or on a night out?

The Dancefloor Project brings people together to explore ways we can make everyone feel safe and reduce sexual harm in public spaces.

Take up some space, soak up the vibes, bust a move, pick up a pen and tell us your demands.

By making your mark on the walls of the dancefloor you can tell us how you want to be treated in public spaces and what makes you feel safe on a night out. There will also be the opportunity to confidentially disclose personal experiences of sexual harm and barriers that have been faced when reporting. Based on the conversations we have, your experiences and data from optional follow-up focus groups, we will work together to create prevention strategies to make public spaces safer for everyone: so you can bust a move without fear.

What would make you feel safer on the dancefloor?

The Dancefloor Project is a collaboration between Bolshee CIC and York St John University Psychology department in association with the York St John Institute for Social Justice
