Kyle will recap the basics of navigating Unreal Engine 4, as well as cover techniques for composing interactive music for games, as well as how to implement these using Blueprints (a visual coding system) and C++ to create interactive soundtracks for your game. If there is time, Kyle will also cover the use of Wwise (an audio middleware) to implement more interactive, procedural soundtracks into games.

Kyle is a 3rd year PhD student with the Centre for Doctoral Training in Intelligent Games and Game Intelligence and the Music Computing and Psychology Lab, who is investigating and creating systems for generating expressive music in video games.
