Adrián and Kyle will present their quickfire talks for the upcoming Game Audio Symposium based at Leeds Beckett University, covering the following topics.
Adrián will go over AI methods to synthesise sound and their potential applications to sound design in game audio. Kyle will be discussing the concept of Music AI as part of a composer’s toolbox, as well as demonstrating how AI can be used for mixing, composing and expressive rendering. Adrián Barahona-Ríos and Kyle Worrall
Adrián is a final year IGGI PhD student. In collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe, he is researching the use of machine learning for the synthesis of sound effects. Kyle is a 3rd year PhD student with the Centre for Doctoral Training in Intelligent Games and Game Intelligence and the Music Computing and Psychology Lab, who is investigating and creating systems for generating expressive music in video games.
