Move beyond improv games and into improv scenes and shows with this introduction to Long Form. Find the funny and serious by learning to spontaneously co-create improvised scenes using a combination of core skills and advanced ways to play. This session is open to anyone familiar with basic improv skills and is looking to take things to the next creative level.

Paul Birch has been improvising for over 25 years and trained at the legendary Second City, I.O and UCB working with improvisers from all over the world. He has taken improv into prisons, care homes, schools, theatres, festivals, homeless shelters and various health care settings. He was recently invited to perform with Chicago’s longest running Improv team, Deep Schwa, on the mainstage at The Annoyance and runs The Improv Gym at York Theatre Royal. He regularly performs Long-Form shows with Fool(ish) and Short-Form with Right Here, Right Now. He makes everything up as he goes along…
